 | Subject: You CAN claim DLA without a dx..... 25/6/2007, 3:02 pm | |
| it goes on how much work the child is everyday.
I just wanted to point out to parents/carers that DLA IS available to anyone who has difficulties with life each and every day and this DOESNT mean they have to have a dx of any kind, it is simply how much work they are.
I was upset i wasnt told about it years ago! I have struggled with T since he was 2 and only just got it and it was ALL based on the struggles he has and he wasnt dx at the time.
The more info u give the better and reports from medical professionals will help also, so please guys, if u dont get DLA and u think ur child qualifies then go for it.
Carers allowance can not be claimed until DLA has been awarded, i was advised of this when i recieved my DLA application form. _________________ Northern lass born & bred! |
