Ok we had the NHS SaLT appointment yesterday afternoon and i did not get time to come post as it was another hectic day, anyhow she assessed him with mutiple choice picture questions and he did do well. However she witnessed his swearing, kicking some plastic food about like it is a football, he pulled my hair and he got up several times while trying to do the work with him.

Lots of rocking in his chair to the point she told him not to rock like that as he might fall and crack his head open, to which T replied 'no-one in the world has ever cracked their head open' maybe because he has never seen it happen that he does not think it has ever happend who knows?!

She said she would like to look more in detail in regards to his language understanding and his communication, she asked me to sign forms for me to allow the school to give her info about T.

Im not holding my breath but she did also say she too knows and has heard of PDA, she will see T again in 2 weeks time so not bad considering. I thought it might be another month before and if we went back, so its sooner than expected.

Here's hoping things start to fall into place, yeah right! that would be nice but its so not that easy!
