School!!!

okey well school know that my Son has been telling the time since he was 4 yet they keep sending him homework to do with telling the time and he does it very very easily.

Blah i just wish they would challenge him more coz the work they are setting him he can do it in no time at all. Anyways today he said they were doing some time telling on the pc'es at school so he "helped" one of his friends ie he told him all the answers. I just wish school would make these exercises a bit harder for him but oh well.

well done little one! :0) seems j's school is the opposite,he still struggles reading&writing and is sent home*hard books* hes 9 and on same level as his brother who is 7 and can read them in the blink of an eye,whereas j struggles.I asked for him not to be sent home*hard* homework and all I got was"I KNOW he can do it,we WONT set him up for failure.I told them they are setting him for failure&of course he gets frustrated and wont read,we have since had *easier books* and less homework,they dont realise that I school him every afternoon(as he is only on part-time at school)

Oh well at least their is a positive side to my Son being set easy homework at least it will give hime one thing hes top of the class at so it will do his confidence the world of good. Btw Lolly hes not so little he is 11 now :o

Blah that must really suck from your point of view though the school sending him books home that he cant read.
