Well i took T to sch and there was a lady there to help him settle in and i was advised she has a son herself with Autism, i cant ask for any more than that & i told her i was pleased to have someone who really understands thumbup

There is another boy on the spectrum attending the sch so they are well in the know Smile

T came out of school yesterday limping so i looked more and noticed a hole in his trousers and mud on them. I asked him what happened but he was getting stressed about it. Another parent said she would go and ask what happened and they should of told me, of course i went in to ask about this great big bandage on his knee.

It turns out he did a sliding tackle while playing foot on the concrete, thats T sliding tackle is all he likes to do while playing footy and when he played for his ex local team his coach was forever telling him to stay on his feet.

While finding out about this accident the receptionist informed me that T is always falling/hurting himself, thats T in a nutshell! he is VERY clumsy and already this is noticed by the staff. His clumsy behaviour is down to his problems and the sooner this is recognised the better.

How are everyone else's kids getting on at school? I hope things are going smoother for them being in a new school year Smile

Dyspraxia can be no fun. I have it so can be all over the place sometimes.

Funny u say that Paul because until T went to enroll for school i have never had Dyspraxia mentioned to me before but i know his clumsiness is due to something underlying, research confirms many children with Aspergers have Dyspraxia also.

When will i ever know what is completely the profile for T? I dont think i will for many more yrs to come Sad

It will all come out in the wash. But I'm very dyspraxic. When you have poor vision it gets worse as your eyes just don't 'see' things at all.
