| Hi guys
Well we are off to our first appointment with CAMHS in the area we now live in, wont be holding my breath but i will be making my concerns known, not that i haven't over the last 5 yrs! My brother who works in adult mental health (mencap) will be coming with us 
Spoke with Paed this morning and he has read the report done by the independent SaLT which i had emailed to me late last night (it is fantastic!). Paed was very pleased with it and said it seems that more and more professionals are seeing Ts behaviours for what they really are.
SaLT has clearly stated at the very end of the report that, all of Ts difficulties would be consistent with a possible dx of PDD such as Aspergers & ASD and/or PDA, what a woman! She has also said she is happy to discuss the contents of the report if needed and what her position in the field of ASDs is, it is stated as 'specialism' within that field.
I have given copies to Ts SW (who after reading it said he is very keen to spk with his supervisor) and my solicitor which it is noted on the report that they will get copies of this report.
I will go there tomorrow and T will show them exactly what he is about and god help em!
