| Has anyone got any advice regards toothpaste?
C detests mint (I'm with her there!) and will only use the "Milk Teeth" strawberry flavoured toothpaste.
Now her dentist is telling me that she needs a toothpaste with a higher flouride content, which I fully appreciate, but they don't seem to make it in any flavour other than the dreaded mint!
There is NO WAY I can do as she suggested which is mix a little mint with the strawberry. C can spot it at 100 paces!
Does anyone know of a pink/red strawberry flavoured adult toothpaste? The only one I could find is by a company called "Tom's of Maine" (it's all organic and polar bear friendly) whicj looks like squashed strawberries and smells really nice, but it doesn't carry the required dose of flouride (i.e. I can't find out how much they put in it!) and I really don't want to stand at the bathroom sink with 2 tubes of toothpaste and a cocktail stick, hiding one paste within the other, only to find that I'm wasting my time! The last thing I want is to put her off! She loves brushing her teeth so much that I have to physically stop her before she damages her gums! |

| T uses a Tweety (the cartoon bird) Colgate one, its in a pink tube (strange i know coz there are no boy or girl toothpastes! toothpaste is toothpaste) and unfortunately it is minty (T hates minty toothpaste also) but i know he has to use that now and not the 'milk teeth' one which he did do until last year.
What i found with this toothapste is, it has white stars in it! I told T it was special toothpaste because i dont have stars in mine and he must use it or his teeth will get rotten.
He always says this to me now nearly every night during teeth brushing but at least he knows what will happen if he does not brush his teeth with big kids toothpaste and he is using it ok considering he detests minty toothpaste _________________ Northern lass born & bred! |

| Well I took Grandmas advice and had a quick google (very nice it was too!) and ended up contacting Colgate who are in the next town to me.
Will have a look for the Tweety toothpaste in Tesco later (what an exciting life I lead ). |
